Dawson County Middle School Band

I wanted to get a picture up from my son's band concert. Ross is first chair clarinet and he attended District band this year in Toccoa. We are very proud and wanted to share it with our friends.

Cara and Gregs Wedding

WOW - Kevin is right; it was a great wedding! We both were honored and privileged to be their wedding photographers. I can remember the 1st time meeting them at Waters Mill when they were touring the property trying to decide where to get married. After they decided on a package, we arranged for Engagement Photo's during the Fall Season last year. What a great time that was for us. Really nice down-to-earth people.

The Wedding was awesome! There were some concerns during the week that maybe there would be some rain, but we were spared any worries as it was a stunningly beautiful day. The ceremony took place at 4:00pm. I was the one with Cara as she waited in the Bridal Suite to be escorted by her Dad to the ceremony site. She looked great; a little nervous too! Needless to say she made her way down the aisle to Greg (who hadn't seen her at all) and when he got his 1st look at his bride - man, he was moved to tears. A really emotional moment. I've got to admit, I sort of teared up too. When you work with a couple, you cant help but get attached to them; almost like family members. Whew.. I'm getting a little misty again thinking about it..

Anyway.. We shot a ton of pictures. Kevin and I will be putting together a wedding album to view soon, but in the meantime we'll have the pictures up on our website www.watersmillphoto.com hopefully by Tuesday morning.

See you soon!

Cara & Greg

We just shot a fantastic wedding at Waters Mill in Dahlonega, Ga. We will have some pictures on here soon. Jim and Kevin used Nikon digital D300 and D70 cameras. We had a great time and Cara & Greg are outstanding folks.
