They have a big wedding coming up next weekend and it should be a lot of fun. Stephanie and Chris are a great couple and we look forward to capturing their special day.
Jessica and Pete met with us this week to set up their wedding in Toccoa this December. We are looking forward to shooting this fun couple during the Christmas season. Pete serves our country everyday in the military and we appreciate the sacrifices he and his family have made to keep us safe.
Kevin and I had a great time this past Sunday with Misty and Nathan. This couple will be getting married in June at Waters Mill. Lots of fun, and great weather (finally) to knock out this session with them. Well worth it, and a great way to wrap up Mothers Day 2009!
Waters Mill Photography has created a Twitter account! Look us up as "WatersMillPhoto" and follow us around for the 2009 season! We're off to a GREAT start so far and things are looking better and better as the season moves forward.
We had a great time with this couple on Saturday. The weather was great and we got some cool shots. We used some new and different lenses to get some neat shots. Our friend/photographer Dan tagged along to learn a bit and shoot some practice shots.
The season has fired up for us at Waters Mill. Rhonda is working 7 days a week (including on her vacation) with this season's brides. Jim is working 7 days also with all 3 of his jobs!
I just got my 70-200mm 2.8 Nikon lens and have had a great time shooting with it.
Here are a few pictures from this week at Waters Mill.
We met up with Kelly and JW at Waters Mill today. After some great shots, we went to the square in Dahlonega. The weather was outstanding and we had a great time with a fun couple. Here are 2 shots from the shoot.
We had a great time shooting Sunday at Waters Mill. It was a bit windy, but it turned out to be a great day. Here is a collage from the engagement session.
Jim and I will start shooting engagement sessions next week. We have a big line-up for 2009. We are on the road to a huge year! We have to thank Jim's wife Rhonda for all her support over the years. We couldn't get to where we are today with out her help.
The picture above is from my neighbor’s lake just down the road. Bob is a great guy and has a fabulous place near Dahlonega. Bob is also a fellow trustee at the church that Jim and I are members.
Kevin and I did an Engagement Session with Jenny and Wes this past Sunday; the pictures are up on the page for them to see. Looking at them, I feel like this was a good session. We got a lot of the shots we wanted to get as a lead-up to the wedding. Engagement series like this help us decide what we'll be doing on the day of the wedding. Obviously we'll not be getting the exact same ones, plus not to mention the wedding day is really fast paced and we're moving around a lot. All in all, I'm very happy with this series of Jenny and Wes. I think they'll be pleased too.
Here are the links to 2 Flash albums we created to summarize our year. Please take a look at both as we will be ordering hard copy albums to show our customers soon. If we shot your wedding over the past few years, let us know if you are interested in an album.
Well I couldn't wait to look at these pictures from tonight's wedding. I posted a few here to see what a great couple we had to shoot. Sunlight became an issue but we got through it OK.
We had a great time last night at Amber and Jeremy's rehearsal. This will be a big 200+ guest wedding. Jim and I are in the preparation mode for later today. We will be ready and look forward to shooting this fabulous couple.
As Jim posted yesterday, we had a fantastic time with Carrie and Jesse. This was an intimate wedding with just close family and friends. This allowed us to get some outstanding shots and I have attached a couple here.
Well, it's a done deal, they've finally got married. Kevin and I are in the middle of shooting thier wedding. Actully, everyone is eating, an we just dont shoot during dinners. Who wants a picture of themselves with a fork in thier mouth?
Anyway, things are going great. Carrie looks stunning, and Jesse cleaned up fairly well :)
Time to go back to work. We'll be blogging some more in a bit!
